Larry Saunders is always very welcome. A much under appreciated singer. Angela Davis' imprisonment stirred a whole slew of recording sessions across the soul and jazz world. There's a great compilation in these tracks, I think.

Thanks for sharing.

everybody dont worry the file is there its just sharebee is down at the moment..try again later ..or if they are gone for good i will upload to another..ok..ok

and thank you for all the nice comments i am glad you like the music i am sharing..but as you see the leeches are still around ..if anybody has a good idea how to fuck them off let us blogers know.

tswift98 said...

you can do what Chris Rich is doing over there at throwback music and the people that leave comments on everything get the link to your precious music........you eliminate 99 percent of the leeches that way........a little harder but you won't have to give anybody links but the people who leave comments which will be few..........you might want to try that and see how it works...........I think it's working for him........

Anyway hope to see you back there,

If you want to cut down on folks coming and going without leaving a comment I would suggest you get yourself off the blog aggregators like Whole Lotta Blog and such.

Folks coming from those sites are much more likely to "hit and run" than people who find you through links on like-minded, like-music blogs.

....or you can continue with the threats.

politics & music does sometime create great marriages, I hope this is one of them. New to me, but from your description (and the cover!) I think I'll have a guilty consious by not gonna listen to it!

Hey Paros,

I just discovered this blog today, and was led to it by way of searching for John Gary Williams' solo album-- I'm a fan of the Mad Lads and wanted to hear his outside of that project.

But I chose to download this Larry Sanders record instead. I'm grateful to you for sharing this material, and glad you've made it clear you appreciate comments from folks: sometime people don't click without being told that there is indeed a human being behind each of these blogs who likes to hear from those who take advantage of them.

All the vinyl I own is in storage on the other side of the country from me, so all I can share at the moments is some links maybe of interest to those who're interested in the Free Angel Davis album:

So, thanks again and please keep up the good work.
