Had this when it first came out-it's yet another classic post from this wonderful site-don't have her first record simply titled the judy roberts band do you?
It would be nice to start a run of music from the inner city record label-maybe to match the strata east run of music that seems to be popular on lots of sites at the moment.

Agree with Colinb - Judy Roberts band first album is class - But hey , who else is even listing anything by Judy Roberts !

Keep plugging away Paros - Doing a fine job !!

Mark Winkler, "Ebony Rain" would go down a storm on your page.

Hello , Paros ! Thank you for this one album ! And I would like to ajoin with one of the commenters bout her previous work and label retrospective - all this is a special period of time in jazz , not talkin bout musicians who made it special ! Sometimes you nod on this or that album or song as your personal favored one - it will be interesting to hear more of your stories ! You seem to be the one with the knowledge and 30 years of funky groove - thats why . At that point - if commenters would be much more talkative - it could be such a nice jazz talk - more one know deeper one goes ... ha ha !
Plus ... I was thinkin recently ... PATSY GALLANT ? Could it be one of your faves ? AND ALSO ... I cannot find no more a simple and groovy thing ... namely ... OSCAR BROWN JR musical called JOY ... with his wife and SIVUCA in it ! What a record !
Thank you for music and for makin difference inna blogworld !
