1978 Atlantic records usa..featuring Mr barretto on Congo's and percussion Eddie Rivera on bass Neal Larson on keyboards and prince Phillip Mitchell on vocals with Cissy Houston on 2 tracks as well..this LP goes everywhere..with soul jazz and Latin all on one slab of vinyl..can you feel it, yes i can..and you can two as its in the comments @320

You got me goin' back down memory lane with this one... A friend had it on CD some years ago and we used to enjoy it, but then I think he lost it somehow and I haven't had a chance to listen to it until now...

ps: you might want to keep from getting too disappointed with the lack of comments..we all suffer from that, but just imagine people from all different places grooving to the sounds you share, even if they don't say so..

I ordered it on CD a couple of hours before I found your post.... I have Stargazer on 12inch. I remember the album from BITD but I never baught it then. I better DL it if the CD doesn't arrive :-)

Haven't heard this for 13 years - When I sold it with another 1500 jazz / soul / funk albums - 1 of only 6 I regret selling !!

Ray died not that long ago, I think. He cut some real great straight ahead jazz records toward the end of his life, so it will be cool to check him out in a different bag. Thanks again for all of the work in putting these out for those of us who love it.
